Engines

The District maintains one structural Class A engine at each of the six fire stations plus one reserve engine as required by the Washington Survey and Rating Bureau.   In accordance with National Standards and Rating Bureau requirements, the District goal is to retire engines after 25 years of service - a formidable challenge under todays economic climate.
